Please note in Vista to fix your Shutdown Delay issue you muss turn off your 24 bit Crystalizer it's only way make it shut down faster. Please note I added tweak to XP and Win 7 that you can Enable your 24 bit Crystalizer to make windows shut down in normal way please let me know if new tweak works or not thanks.

i've installed the suite on my windows 7 but when i start the setup for the effective install of the suite the setup don't start

what is the problem?

Same problem here. Must be a bug. I have Windows 7 x64 7264 in my PC...

Please download the 7zip then maybe exe setup doesn't work right?

7zip the same.... I noticed this in the setup.ini :

neither demo32 runs in my windows 7 x64...

I finally managed to run it manually ..\Pax X-Fi All OS Software Suite Summer 2009\Audio\Setup. The autorun start script and demo32 not working under Windows 7 x64 for me. I dont know if any other managed to run it properly. Gret job Robert and thank you.

Robert when you install drivers for an xfi elite pro you can hear the clicking noise from the sound card as the drivers are installed.well iam not getting this with your drivers and when i restart my pc i get the unsorported device error but i can install creatives official drivers without problem any ideas thanks richard.

Hi Yes you need go to Audio folder then Setup folder then Setup.exe to run the setup. I will be releasing the set soon I find right tweaks for the drivers sets. Rich did you try the normal driver set by chance from mine?

I can't install the exe file or the 7zip of this suite but i can install the normal driver from the link you gave me. The only thing is you don' get all the extra bits with the normal driver.

Yes i did it how you said audio folder set up then set up main exe but no go .

I got it working in vista rob and i must say it sound alot better than creatives official drivers well done.

Good job!!! I use it on my XP and Windows 7 for sb0770(X-FI oem) an no problems.

Quick question, does this fix the intolerable crackling issues on X-Fi xtrememusic? I tried the drivers you uploaded the other day, but they didn't make any difference.

I've read a lot about these problems being caused by a memory hole and the only way my X-Fi will work with my 64 bit Windows 7 O/S (or any other 64 bit OS) is by setting the max memory as 4096 in msconfig. Then I lose a load of RAM which is hardly ideal.

You might have upgrade your ram or take out 512megs of ram make 3.5 gigs so you won't get that issue there no way I can fix I only can make sound much better thats it.

That's interesting. I guess it must be a hardware fault then? Well, Creative certainly aren't going to do anything about it. I think I'll bin my X-FI... onboard sound can't be that bad, especially with the XFI-Mb software.

New to your forums which are great btw. I'm confused as to which is best the summer software suite 2009 or v1.10 ?

I'm going release the Summer suite with the right tweaks from the v1.10 set . But you can go ahead installed v1.10 tweaks. Just don't installed drivers from the Suite hehe.

Can anyone offer any advice please? My soundcard(Xfi) is working ok(ish) and is visible to the Creative Autoupdate software but I want to install the summer suite. When I go to Audio\Setup\setup the install shield wizard starts but I get a message saying that setup cannot detect a supported product on my system. This is rubbish as it is installed and working and visible in the Hardware Manager. I have Vista x64 sp2 installed.

Hi Mate did you used Driver Cleaner by chance? You need do that first before installing suite. I'd might not have your Device ID then if driffter?

do you have support for this already?

Are those specific changes included in the XFI All-OS-Driver V1.10 release? I'm looking forward to it to make my XtremeMusic SB0460 work as intended, with the missing Decode tab.

I will be testing 1.10 before downloading the whole suite. If anyone has some experience please share. Thx!


EDIT: well, 1.10 didn't worked (no decode tab). Any advice?

not all cards will have decorder tabs do u have uaa music card? my xfi music card in other old does have it and my xfi champ too. u might have to by ddl pack only way.

Nope, my card is not UAA, but i found out it's a SB0467 (as reported here). I finally made it work using this old release of yours. It would be great if you could update your new releases with this important capability. That driver it's the only one working from all the many drivers i've installed & tested! (believe me, TOO many)
