Microsoft Pulls Back Windows 7 Beta

Microsoft has, at least for now, postponed the release of the Windows 7 beta, while it adds additional servers to handle the load. Microsoft has struggled with server issues all day as users tried download the first public beta of its newest OS.

If necessary you can use the "slmgr -rearm" command method to increase that 30 day sans activation period to up to 120 days. It works on 7 as well as Vista.

I have it! And i love it!! One problem though my X1650Pro PCi-E card crashes on some games. The game crashes then windows informs me the driver stopped responding but successfully recovered. But when it works it plays Hl2 at 190Fps on all settings on high!!

i have 3 spare serials for the 64 bit courtesy of microsoft and firefox browser

Cant use clone more for monitor/tv compination. ATI preview drivers doesn't have an option for that and windows 7's very own display control panel doesnt work for putting it on "mirror".

I use mirror mode for playing so my friends can see my progress via tv.

They are currently reiterating about half a dozen keys that they give to people. I'd expect that to be intended all along so in the end the overload was probably just a web server thing. The actual ISO downloads have been working during this. I scratch my head, but at least it's out and that's what's most important.

Registry tweak to do away with the Send Feedback lin on every window: (I ended up clicking it accidentally too many times)
