Rare has announced their classic FPS game Perfect Dark, one of the most celebrated titles on the Nintendo 64 platform, will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade soon. The game will be shown off at a Microsoft press event, X10 in San Francisco, next week.
While the X10 event will feature a whole host of other first-party and third-party titles on the Xbox 360, the announcement of Rare porting their classic across to the console has generated a lot of attention.
Rare issued an e-mail inviting people to the event that said:
"Everyone at X10 will finally have a chance to get hands-on with Joanna - complete with her remastered visuals and silky 60fps frame-rate."
Although the likelihood is that other announcements made at the event will be kept under lock and key, Rare don't seem to mind who knows about the Perfect Dark update and have also issued screenshots to display what improved visuals have been made.
