Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin's Creed II has sold 1.6m units worldwide during its first week of being on sale with a 32 percent improvement over the performance of Assassin's Creed. It has to be noted however that it pales in comparison to the might of Modern Warfare 2 which sold over 1.78m units in the first week of being on sale, in just the UK.
