Alan Wake has been one of the most anticipated games in years and we managed to spend some time with code from developer Remedy to see how the game has been shaping up.

I just read today that Alan Wake might be an Xbox360 exclusive with no PC version being released or the PC version being released months or a year later then the console version...I hope this is not the case but recent comments from Remedy seem to indicate that this could indeed be true ...after years of hype and anticipation this would really suck...this was supposed to be the game that really used all 4 cores effectively as well...

I recall the first time I saw some tech footage of the game being demo'd on an Intel Quad Core PC and how the extra cores would be used for physics and other cool stuff. Now with DH giving the seal of approval on how amazing the graphics are it would be a great disappointment if the PC version is delayed so the console version can get maximum sales (and less pirated).

The console crowd cares so little for this game, they have tons of game choices to look forward to whereas us PC gamers have just a few gems like Alan Wake we nervously anticipate. Throw us a bone Remedy, put the game out on PC at the same time as the console version so we can enjoy it like it was meant to be played.
